Megan J makes Cowbridge CC History

Megan J has made Cowbridge Cricket Club history by being selected into the first ever Glamorgan Women's squad for the 2025 season.

The 2025 historic schedule will see the Glamorgan Women’s team competing in Vitality Blast Women’s League Two, Metro Bank One Day Cup Women’s League Two and the Vitality T20 Women’s County Cup.

Glamorgan Women’s team will be playing in the Vitality Blast Women’s League 2 South Group against Gloucestershire, Kent, Middlesex and Sussex Sharks. Each county plays eight group-stage matches (home-and-away against the other four counties in their group). The top two from each group progress to Finals Day.

The fixtures will include two double headers on Sunday 13 July and Friday 18 July where the Glamorgan Women’s and Men’s teams will play on the same day at Sophia Gardens.

The first Glamorgan Metro Bank One Day Cup Women’s League Two home game will be on Saturday 19 April against Sussex Sharks

Everyone at Cowbridge wish to congratulate Megan on this fantastic achievement.

Club President, Gaynor Smart, commented "I'm delighted to hear about Meg's section in the first ever Glamorgan Women's squad. Meg's inclusion in the squad is recognition of all her hard work and dedication".
